Survey on advanced nurse practitioner participation in collaborative practice agreements with pharmacists

Please see information below about a pharmacist/advanced nurse practitioner survey from a group of P3 students at the University of Iowa.

Are you currently a practicing advanced registered nurse practitioner in the state of Iowa? If so, we would like your help!

We are a group of pharmacy students at the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy, conducting a survey on advanced nurse practitioner participation in collaborative practice agreements with pharmacists. We are interested in your current experiences and knowledge of these agreements. Your input will greatly inform our understanding of current pharmacist-advanced nurse practitioner collaborative practice agreements in Iowa and identify opportunities for potential practice expansion. Key findings may be used for improving access and awareness of these agreements and creating strategies to improve patient care in Iowa.

We are asking you complete a confidential survey on this topic; your individual answers will not be linked with any personally identifying information in any reports of the results. The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. You can skip any question you do not wish to answer, and you may return to the survey at any time up to two weeks after you start the survey but before you submit your final responses. This survey will close two weeks after you begin but will remain open indefinitely if you have not yet opened it.

1. Participant is an active advanced nurse practitioner licensed to practice in Iowa.
