Update on INPS Fall Conference

Posted over 2 years ago

To our INPS members,

As you are all aware, the COVID pandemic continues to evolve with new variants emerging.  The INPS Board has been closely monitoring the situation and based on the most current information, along with guidance from the CDC, we have made the following changes to our conference.

  • We will be limiting the number of participants for the in-person conference to 175. This will allow us to space 6 feet apart in the ballroom.
  • We will be requiring the use of masks during the conference regardless of vaccination status.
  • We are making a recommendation that anyone attending the conference in person be vaccinated.

We are aware that this information is not ideal, but we are also making sure we can be as safe as possible while representing the medical community.

We are also going to continue monitoring the pandemic and reserve the right to change these recommendations going forward.

The conference is being offered in a virtual format (online live-streaming as well as via recordings for four weeks after the conference) in addition to our in-person format.

If you have previously registered as an in-person participant and want to change your enrollment to virtual, please contact conference@iowanpsociety.org.

I cannot thank you all enough for the support you have shown INPS over the past few years.

Sincerely,

Jen Wittman, DNP, ARNP

2021 Conference Chair
