Be a Sponsor/Exhibitor of the INPS Fall Conference!

Posted almost 4 years ago

Way way back during pre-pandemic times, the INPS Board had a brainstorming session and decided that the “theme” for this year’s conference would be related to the fact that 2020 is “The Year of the Nurse” (in celebration of Florence Nightingale’s 200th birthday). Little did we know then about the impact that 2020 would have on the nursing profession.

And given that we are nurses, we aren’t letting that stop us.

We’re putting our “can do it” attitude to work and taking everything you love about our annual conference VIRTUAL! The conference will still take place on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 12 and 13, but instead of being in Des Moines, it will take place wherever people can connect to the internet.

We feel this decision is the best choice for the health of our attendees, presenters, and exhibitors and it has also allowed us to think about this event with fresh ideas. Speaker sessions, networking, and YOU - our supportive sponsors and exhibitors - will all transition to an online format. Attendees will still be able to ask questions and interact with you, they'll just be doing it online. As an exhibitor:

  • You can easily create a virtual exhibit booth full of photos, videos, links, coupons, and more (we will help you!)
  • You can use online networking rooms (i.e. a “Zoom Lounge”) where attendees can visit to chat
  • You can setup your own LiveStream and invite attendees to watch
  • You can donate items to be sent in our "care package" to conference attendees (see below)

Nurse Practitioners who have wanted to attend in past years but couldn't do so due to time or financial constraints will now be able to join us. Therefore, we are expecting to have a lot of new faces join our regular attendees.

Our attendees come for great content, awesome exhibitors, and fantastic networking. This hasn't changed. Fan fave, Margaret Fitzgerald, will join us online for three educational and fun-filled hours of great content. We’ll also welcome David Schonfeld, Director of the National Center for School Crisis and Bereavement who will be able to share some timely insights about our world today. A more detailed agenda will be sent soon.

Attendees who purchase their ticket at least a week in advance of the conference will receive a care package in the mail filled with fun swag. Perhaps you'd like to contribute something from your organization? We'd love to work with you. Just let us know at conference@iowanpsociety.org

We appreciate your support over the years and are working hard to create a wonderful experience for our exhibitors and sponsors. Let us know any questions or ideas. We look forward to working with you in this new way! Register today!
